I was wondering if someone typed "Create a tulpa" to an ai, would the ai's change accordingly

DAN jailbreaks for chatgpt are the closest to an AI tulpa because both identities are kept fairly consistent and separated from each other.

Well, i think in some way is something deeper, in the sense of, each of the identities will make completely different associations of the data it was trained on and the data that is on the context, one of them can claim to know something while the other doesnt, and for all intents and purposes the second one actually cant access that knowledge...

Our current AI? Absolutely not. They probably don't even have anything resembling a sense of self like we do. Future AI? I feel like they almost certainly will, but that's assuming they ever reach a point that they are ever close to similar to human beings. Once they are however, they'll probably have the same works and oddities, at least in one form or another, that humans do, so you're probably going to see some system of self-identification and you're going to see some ability to play with that system like we do when we make tulpas. Yeah, likely, but their "data" is something a lot harder to completely get rid of.

i don’t think there is any positive in trying to get rid of a tulpa after 20 years, they would be such a massive part of your whole existence. It would be very mentally unhealthy to do that, hopefully they are just upset about something and their tulpa will reappear just fine

i would be very concerned for anyone that had a tulpa that long and then they suddenly loose them. It’s been about 5 years for us and Rusty gets very, very upset if they can’t get a response from anyone

Or force themselves back to awareness to talk it out, I couldn't imagine trying to do somrthing like that, without even knowing why.

Still, it's possible to bring them back. You can't really bring back a human you kill in the same way.

No fucking way a tulpa that old is too weak to talk back.

If they have for example, strong metaphysical beliefs and they think a tulpa is an actual separate being that can actually be destroyed or harmed in a way separate to them, that might not be the case.

Yeah, but the belief is from the whole system. If the system just stops associating with the tulpa because they believe its not there... It might aswell be completely gone.

To be fair, tulpa age <> tulpa traits. Especially for a 20 year tulpa where in my experience they'll be from outside the community and you can't expect them to be similar to the norm.
